We also accept donations in person, like fresh fruits/vegetables, repurposed household items like towels, plastic kid pools, playpens, and animal crates/carriers
What should I bring to feed the animals?
It is imporant we keep all of our animals as healthy as possible, but just like humans....all of our animals love TREATS!
Popular treats for all farm animals are: All types of Berries, Bananas (without peel only for the pigs), Apples (cut into pieces and seeds removed), Melons, DARK leaf lettuce (NO iceberg), Spinach, Carrots with tops, Cucumber, Celery with leaves, Bell Peppers, Grapes. Crackers, breads and cereals (ok if stale) are good for pigs, chickens, and ducks. The goats also love green beans!
Foods to AVOID: Expired or Moldy Items, Tomatoes, Potatoes, Eggplant, Avocado, Onions, Citrus, Chocolates, Meats, Dairy, Fruit without Pits removed.
We encourage you to feed all animals, however, please be careful with fingers. Feed with a flat open hand, or place in a labeled feed bowl. **DO NOT hand feed the pigs!!!
What should I wear when visiting the farm?
Just like any farm, you are likely to get dirty. Wear clothes that are comfortable and breathable. We highly recommend closed toe shoes. Rain boots come in handy during rainy season as some areas maybe muddy.
Can I rent your animals?
We do offer to host events at our location or yours. We can bring a variety of animals, such as chickens, goats, donkeys, lizards, guinea pigs and rabbits. Ponies are only available at the Farm. Please reach out to us for more information.
